Like to learn new things about myself

Yesterday I learned something new about myself, and this has lead to more realisations!
So, major realisation, I work a heck of a lot from my subconscious mind… I can be feeling things and reacting to things that I didn’t realise I was reacting to, but I had certain information tucked away in my nog but I wasn’t consciously accessing it… I’m sort of half asleep most of the time anyway, so this isn’t really a surprise.
Next thing I realised, I really love colours around me, be that my choice of *looks around desk* drinking cup, bright red, lamp and shade, burnished bronze shade with redwood base, or even pens, I use a four-pen with purple, pink, bright green, and bright blue. My new DS Lite is bright green, which I adore, and I like so many colours it’s very, very hard for me to say one when someone asks me which colour I like most. That’s why this news article here was so enthralling to me!
I also realised that I’ve been very lucky with my health. I’ve never had any surgery, and the only major injury was a very mild case of whiplash symptoms after my mother drove off the road and into a barbed wire fence. She didn’t have any insurance, so in spite of pretty nasty superficial damage to her car, she had to pay the farmer who owned the field £25 to repair the fence.
I’m also very patient and methodical. This can be annoying to some, because I seem to take a while to do certain things, but I come out with great results so I’m happy about this. I like to learn new things about myself because when I do, I feel like I know myself better, and I often like myself better when I see myself in a more objective sense.
Now for a pattern… three things I really like in this one, green, chunky yarn, and capelettes! I also really like cables, so that’s a bonus! Here’s the Green Cable Capelet.
