Neighbours moving out

I’m not fond of new neighbours, you see, because they could be any crazy person, so I prefer that if we have good neighbours, they just stay put!
Seriously think about that, because I bet if you do, you’ll feel a mild sense of dread when you see the signs go up saying your neighbours are selling their house. Our neighbours are a lovely old couple who’ve always been friendly and happy to lend us a tool or two when we’ve been putting together new furniture or had to fix a few fence palings. They were lovely, but not all our neighbours are, and I’m concerned about new ones. I’m happy for them, especially because they’ve delayed this for a while due to all the dour mortgage news, but now they really want to move into a lovely little retirement village.
A few houses down the block, on the other side of the road, there seems to be a drug dealers den. That’s how I see it, anyway, for a few reasons. Primarily, there was a needle left outside on the front lawn, in front of a shrub, right next to the drive way, for about… a month? I’d noticed it one day when out for a walk, and then noticed it again a while later. I was so shocked… and I’m pretty sure that if this needle was being used for proper reasons it wouldn’t have been left on the front lawn for a month. The other reason I think it’s a drug dealers den is because at any given time there are about five cars out the front, all a kind of chav swank, if that makes sense… So yeah, I’m sure it’s a drug dealers den, and I have the utmost contempt for people who peddle such things, and I’m sincerely hoping our new neighbours are a nice old couple like the ones who are moving out!
Okay now that I’ve been talking about houses and such the pattern for this post has to be a house type object… so how about a cushion! How about this cushion!? Cinnamon Twist… the pattern is cute, but more importantly, I love cinnamon!
