Too much spam

Why don’t people just stop spamming me!
I’m getting tons and tons of spam comments on my blog, like about 200 in the last week. That’s just insane, if you ask me, and I have to wonder, when I have my new site up and running, am I going to get heaps more spam? I’m really hoping not, though I can totally see being spammed with more business oriented spam, rather than the current illegal pharmaceuticals and nude pictures of celebrities ones. Seriously, who the hell would want any of this stuff? How are these spammers drumming up enough business to make it worthwhile to pay some person to comment spam tons of Wordpress blogs!?
I did end up looking into business SDSL availability, but I noticed when I was uploading some software to my new site that there really wasn’t any need for it. My upload times seem fine, so that’s great for me! And that’s even with two computers and a VOIP phone system all running through the same modem, gotta be happy with that!
I’m thinking with all the money I’ve spent on my website – though in reality it’s not much, it’s just you don’t have much when you’re a student – I’m not going to be buying any new telephones any time soon, so I’m going to have to remember to take the thing around with me, because that ring-tone is soooo quiet still. It’s good in a way though, because we are interrupted less often by it because we just don’t hear it.
On a side note, I slept on my stomach last night, with my arms up above my head, and woke up with such back pain. My fiance told me he was just reading about how sleeping on your stomach isn’t good for you, because it places a great deal of pressure on the upper back and shoulders, and that’s exactly where I’m feeling it. I’m going to have to learn to stop sleeping that way!
Anyway, better wrap this one up with a knitting pattern here… I found this cute little hat and I’m thinking of making it for myself. I’m swapping that purple mohair with someone for some Berocco Alpaca Light, which could be just right for this project… Anyway! Here’s a hat called Smoky.
