Gods, another throw-back post. Right now, I got to thinking about all that house talk from earlier this week, and it got me to thinking about what to put in my house, if my fiancé and I were to buy one. I mean how I would decorate it differently from our current, rented, home.

Just a small recap, I was writing of possibly looking to buy a home because of the lingering low prices from the crash in the UK property market, though there was no way I was going in for one of those fast house sale thingies. I don’t know if I included it last time, but you can keep an eye on things from the ground level, if you are interested, via property blogs.

Okay on to what I was sparked into thinking about through all this property stuff. I would love to include in my home, things I had knitted that I was really, really proud of. I’m not talking garments, nor am I talking about knitted cars, knitted motorcycles, or knitted tank covers. I am talking about something you can put on your wall and consider comforting art… like this world map afghan!

Whilst I was looking around the net for knitted art, or knitted items for the home, I found a couple that are good for a laugh, and others that just perplex me… A knitted candle cozy? Are you kidding? That made it into a book? Please say it isn’t true! Well I think that’s silly, and not silly good, like these cat hats, a cute kitty beret, and a cute kitty fez. I am just finding this whole thing really interesting right now, knitting as art. How awesome is this, by the way, giant knitting!

Today’s pattern has to be something very interesting, I think. Something very creative… How about a knitted mobile? Oh yes, I think that’s it!
